Our Values

Stewardship

We believe exceptional coffee begins with caring for what has been entrusted to us - the land, the farmer, and the communities behind every harvest.

Craftmenship

From the mountains of Guatemala to our small-batch roasting process in Virginia, every coffee is handled with precision, patience, and intention.

Connection

Coffee is meant to bring people together. Every cup carries a story of faith, family, and shared purpose across generations and borders.

Our Story

Latter Rains Coffee began long before coffee.

It began with a quiet prayer spoken over 25 years ago — that prayer ignited a journey to one day steward a small farm in Northern Virginia with purpose.

In 2025, we found ourselves asking a deeper question: How could this farm become a blessing to others? That question led us to Chiquimula, Guatemala, where we began serving alongside Eyes Wide Open Ministry in remote mountain communities. There, we witnessed both beauty and hardship firsthand — families being cared for, villages receiving support, and farmers working tirelessly to provide for the people they love. The coffee farms changed us.

Walking those mountains, listening to farmers’ stories, and seeing the sacrifice behind every harvest gave us a new perspective on coffee. We saw extraordinary quality born from resilience, tradition, and hard work. We also saw how often those same farmers were overlooked.

One phrase stayed with us:

Bless the Farmer.

What started as a calling quickly became Latter Rains Coffee. Today, every batch is roasted on our farm in Northern Virginia using carefully sourced Guatemalan coffee rooted in relationship, stewardship, and craftsmanship.

For us, coffee is more than a product. It is a connection.

It is a story. It is an opportunity to serve others well. From the mountains of Guatemala to your morning cup, we hope every bag carries something meaningful worth sharing.
